2020 New Years Resolutions/Goals

I swear we say this every year, but this year really flew by. 2019 was filled with so many good memories. Whether it was a concert, hanging with friends and family, having a Cape Cod filled summer, or launching our blog, all in all, we had a great 2019. Balancing work, school, and the blog was challenging at times because this is so new to us but we are so excited to learn more in 2020. Every year is filled with highs and lows but this year was one of the best ones yet. We had so much fun and learned so much about ourselves. We were lucky enough to travel together and we hope to do more of that in 2020!! Social media plays a huge role in everyone's lives nowadays, so we added our TOP 9 posts from Instagram from both THE 411 account and our personal accounts. We are so incredibly grateful that we got to launch our blog this year and for the amazing amount of support everyone gave us. Below are our 2020 goals and resolutions.

Goals/New Year's Resolutions 

  1. Drink more water - this is so beneficial for your skin and your overall well being

  2. Feel confident in everything we do - being confident is one of the best qualities to have, get okay with being uncomfortable and start accepting change!!

  3. Take care of my skin - drink water and CLEAN beauty!!

  4. Live in the moment- stop putting so much pressure on yourself and take it one day at a time

  5. Read more - we love to read but it's all about making more time for it

  6. Be more positive - need to start looking at the positive even in negative situations

  7. Quality over Quantity - this isn't just about things you purchase, this can be applied to everything in your life. Surround yourself with people that love and support you. A small circle of friends that hype you up is all you need.

  8. Commit to a routine/get organized - we plan on making workouts and clean eating more of a priority in our busy lives.

  9. Learn how to budget better - we LOVE shopping so learning how to spend our money is crucial for 2020.

  10. Don’t eat so much sh*t - we plan to start to pay more attention to what we put in our bodies in 2020.

  11. Less excuses - stop coming up with reasons not to and just get sh*t done in 2020.

  12. Wake up earlier - go to bed earlier and make use of the whole day

  13. Journal/Reflect - we want to try and journal in 2020 which will help us reflect and learn from what we've done.

  14. Accept change and take chances- change is okay, it can be scary at first but it is important to realize that it is OKAY!! You must take chances to learn and grow.

  15. To not care what other people think - this is one of our biggest goals of 2020. We were hesitant to start our blog back in May of 2019 because we were nervous about what other people would say and think about it. Looking back, starting this blog has been one of our favorite things we have done and we are so thankful we stopped caring what others think.

  16. Workout regularly not to look good but to feel good - working out might suck while you're doing it but the feeling after is amazing and we hope to carry that into 2020.

  17. Time Management - balancing school, work, and the blog can be a lot, so time management is very important to have a successful 2020.

  18. Putting ourselves first - taking a step back and putting ourselves first everyone once in a while is something we hope to improve on in 2020.

  19. Get more sleep - sleep is so important and being college students with a busy lifestyle, it has been hard to get the correct amount of sleep we need!!

  20. Make The 411 the best it can be!!! - this is one of our favorites. Our blog has been up for a little over a month and we are continuing to learn every day how to do this. We appreciate every single one of you and can't wait for 2020.
