What We Eat in a Day

We are trying to avoid the quarantine 15, so we have been trying to eat a somewhat healthy/clean diet. First things first, we chug a bottle of water when we wake up in the morning. Then comes coffee, or tea.

Julia’s Coffee 

  • Pop and Bottle Oat Milk Latte over ice 

Sara's Tea

  • tea with honey and almond milk

Julia’s Pre-Workout Smoothie 

  • One banana 

  • A large handful of spinach 

  • Fresh ginger or ground ginger (1/2 - 1 tsp) 

  • Honey 

  • Unsweetened almond/coconut milk 

  • Top with Coconut flakes and cinnamon 

Sara's Smoothie

  • Bananas

  • Blueberries

  • Almond butter

  • Chia Seeds

  • Spinach

  • Kale

  • Ginger

  • Almond milk

  • Ice

Julia’s Breakfast 

  • Two eggs over-hard 

  • One avocado cut up 

  • A handful of cherry tomatoes

  • Top with pink Himalayan salt, crushed red pepper, cracked pepper, and lots of hot sauce  

Sara's Breakfast

  • Ezekiel bread

  • Avocado

  • Two over-medium eggs

  • Everything but the bagel seasoning

Julia’s Lunch

"whatever is in the fridge paste"

  • Tinkyada brown rice pasta

  • Asparagus

  • Broccoli

  • Mini red and yellow peppers

  • Rao's marinara sauce

  • Cooked veggies in coconut oil

  • Top dish with nutritional yeast

Sara's Lunch

  • Spicy black bean burger

  • Lettuce

  • Tomato

  • Avocado

  • Traditional hummus

  • Sandwich thins

Julia's Snack

  • Bitchin Sauce

  • Variety of Mary's Gone Crackers

  • Baby carrots

  • Mini cucumbers

Sara's Snack

  • Rice cake

  • Almond butter

  • Banana, or Sugar free Jelly

Julia's Dinner

  • Arugula/Spinach salad mix

  • Cherry tomatoes

  • Orange peppers

  • Dr. Praeger's veggie burger

  • Green Goddess dressing from Rory's

  • A nice glass of wine (white)

Sara's Dinner

Turkey Chili

Topped with:

  • Avocado

  • Violife vegan shredded mozzarella cheese

  • Greek yogurt or sour cream

Julia's Dessert

  • Dark Chocolate covered cherries

  • Smart Sweets peach rings or sweet fish

  • "Bedtime" or Detox Tea

Sara's Dessert

  • Easy three-ingredient pumpkin muffins

  • Ginger tea
